Nanashi no Game

Click this.

Basically, if you haven't heard, Nanashi no Game is a scary DS game. The scariest out there (compared to all other DS games), from what I hear. But it's always been in moonspeak and nobody in English land has been able to enjoy the game. Now it's translated. WOOOOOOOOO!

Go play it and not sleep. DOOOOO ITTTTTTT.

If you don't have a flash card to play this on (this is the generally better way of playing fan-translated games), get the emulator DeSmuME, since the game requires a 90 degree flip of the DS to play half the game.

According to that thread, you'll be needing headphones too. Good luck with that, then.

Yes, I know this is pretty useless post, but I had to tell you guys here since I know a lot of you don't check Twitter.

  2. Oh this game sounds excellent, I really need to check it out! Thanks for posting on here, my lack of following Twitter certainly makes it worthwhile you posting here I hope at least, I need to go and download this emulator.

  3. @MohawkLogan: I would rather not link to any videos of the game, because it would spoil some parts of the game (even if it IS just the beginning). If someone really wanted to, they could look it up themself.

  8. ind-nngj.nds is a ROM file. You'll have to find that yourself, since we can't give it to you here due to piracy laws and shit.

  11. OH GOD DAMMIT!

I got the emulator, patched it up, and opened it, but the damn thing just stayed blank.

    I hate my computer.

  12. Holy shit! great game so far. At first it was quite laughable... But it quickly gets sinister. O.o

  13. There won't be 20-30 more stories on Halloween. I've got most of the good ones, so there aren't 20-30 to post.

Your emulator stayed blank because you didn't set it up right.

And I'm trying to update more. But my first priority is sorting out the tag cloud, which is broken and only allows you to show all tags or all tags.

  14. Is it really that good of a scare? I guess I can try it, it won't lag horribly like pokemon roms would it?

  15. I can't try it, someone should describe it later.

  19. Hey dementium was a good DS horror game, the first and second one were both pretty scary, the second one definitely being the best.

  20. Amnesia: The Dark Descent is more scary.

  21. Help me .. I am currently on day five, and I'm dying .. SOS ..

  22. AMNESIA: THE DARK DESCENT is not scary, it's alarming for the first half hour and then becomes completely predictable and LAME.

  23. Speaking of cool creepy japanese games:

Are you aware of Yume Nikki? You play as a young girl who explores her disturbing dreams.
